Condition Assessment
Understanding the condition of existing infrastructure is a key part of pipeline asset management. A lot can be determined by understanding the history of manufacture of various pipe materials, and the changes in manufacturing standards. Also vitally important are the prevailing soil and loading conditions, and how those may have changed over time.
Understanding of the pipe material deterioration process helps us determine remaining life, and advise on future rehabilitation options.
